Million Acorn Challenge

This year's Million Acorn Challenge was a tremendous success! We collected nearly 387,000 acorns, with more than 550 community youth participating!

Here are the winning groups:

1st place:
* Girl Scout Troop 11232 -- 141,000 acorns!

2nd place:
* Boy Scout Troop 228 -- 61,800 acorns!

Join us again in 2009 for the next Million Acorn Challenge! School, community, church and neighborhood groups are welcome to participate. Groups collect acorns in August and September to win great prizes!

Million Acorn Challenge funding provided by 3M, Allianz Foundation for North America, Andersen Corporate Foundation, Athwin Foundation, Bailey Nurseries, Gordon & Margaret Bailey Foundation, Toro Foundation, Xcel Energy Foundation.
