CERIDIAN - OAK WOODLAND RESTORATION AND LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR CORPORATE CAMPUS
Ceridian corporate headquarters is located on south-facing bluffland that encompasses a large, oak woodland overlooking the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. GRG and Friends of the Minnesota Valley (FMV) are helping Ceridian improve and manage this privately held portion of the Minnesota Valley greenway. With assistance from GRG, FMV conducted an ecological inventory and completed a management plan to guide Ceridian's long-term stewardship of the site. In 2000 and 2001, crews removed invasive species from the site. In 2001, a local Boy Scout troop joined Ceridian employees to plant native trees, shrubs and woodland wildflowers and grasses to increase the site's diversity. GRG's field crew then seeded the area with native grass and forbs.
