West Side Bluff-Community-based Bluff Vegetation Management Plan*
In partnership with the Bluff Task Force of the West Side Citizens Organization and the City of Saint Paul, Greening completed an ecological inventory and a restoration and management plan for the city-owned blufflands that overlook the Mississippi River and the West Side flats. Greening has led several volunteer events to plant native trees, shrubs, prairie grasses and wildflowers to reconstruct a native oak savanna on the bluff.
