Great River Greening Raffle:
Handmade cedar Adirondack chairs or Handmade Cedar Strip Canoe
The raffle will be held on 4/26/2014. All proceeds will benefit Great River Greening’s community-based environmental restoration programs.
Sit back and enjoy Minnesota’s natural beauty in a pair of handmade cedar Adirondack chairs.
The chairs were designed and built by architect, skilled furniture maker and Greening board member, Todd Rhoades, with the help of Great River Greening staff.
2 Adirondack Chairs, built from clear cedar – the highest grade available.
The chairs are unfinished so that you can enjoy the softness of the wood while its natural oils resist rot and decay.

Cruise through Minnesota’s treasured lakes and rivers in a handmade 15’ cedar strip canoe.
The canoe is being built by Saint Paul-based Northwest Canoe owner Dennis Davidson as part of the NWC spring demonstration class, and will be complete in May.
The cedar strip canoe model is the “Cottager,” an excellent handling, stable canoe with carrying capacity for two paddlers and gear for the boundary waters or to use as a fishing platform. Paddles are not included.

How To Purchase Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets are on sale now, and available for $20 each. The drawing will be held at the Million Shades of Green Gala on April 26, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. You need NOT be present to win.
Raffle tickets will be sold through April 26. Tickets can be purchased with cash, check, or debit card.
In Person: Great River Greening staff and board members will have raffle tickets to sell in person. Payment may be made by cash or check (made out to ‘Great River Greening’)
By Telephone: we can accept your debit card information over the telephone. Please call Rob Nygaard at 651.665.9500 x18 to process the transaction.
By Mail: To purchase a raffle ticket by mail, send a check to Great River Greening with ‘Raffle’ written on the memo line. Checks must be received by April 25 in order to be eligible to participate.
