Volunteer Supervisor and Crew at Fish Creek Open Space

Volunteer Supervisor and Crew at Fish Creek Open Space

Do you enjoy leading, teaching, and motivating others?

Do you care about the environment and want to make a lasting impact?

Then sign up today to become a Volunteer Supervisor!

Volunteer Supervisors are the gears of our events! For our public spring and fall restoration events, each supervisor works with 5-15 volunteers, motivating and leading the group,  and providing on-the-job training in restoration.  They also lead smaller projects throughout the year and educate community groups on issues related to ecological conservation and restoration.

Work includes, but is not limited to, planting, exotic species removal, and native seed collection propagation.

The required training has been scheduled for Saturday, March 1st, from 9:30-11:30am at St. Anthony Library in Minneapolis. RSVP by contacting our Volunteer and Outreach Manager Jen Kader at (651) 665-9500 or jkader@greatrivergreening.org
