Video: Erosion control and beautification in St. Paul Park
Several families with young children volunteered with Great River Greening to improve water quality in the Mississippi River by controlling erosion at the boat launch in Lions Levee Park, in St. Paul Park. Together, they transformed the area from loose soil and turf to more stabilizing native grasses and flowers.

Anoka Sand Plain habitat conservation, Great River Greening, $1.2 million for Phase 4 of habitat enhancement and restoration of 917 acres including land in Sherburne, Morrison and Todd counties. Affected sites include two state WMA’s, a state forest, two Scientific and Natural Areas, a national wildlife refuge and four regional projects.
