As the Associate Director of Special Programs, James provides high level oversight and operational coordination with the Urban and Community forestry and Greening Solutions programs. James received a Bachelors of Science from St. Cloud State University in Ecology and Natural resources and has been working in Natural resource management for over a decade in a both the public and private sectors focusing primarily on native landscape maintenance and prescribed burning.  When not at work James likes to spend his time gardening, cooking, playing broomball, and camping.
