Ryan Pellow
Lead Restoration Technician

Ryan joined Great River Greening as the lead restoration technician in June 2022. Ryan’s work involves getting the restoration crew started each day and working alongside them doing various natural resource management projects. Prior to joining Great River Greening, Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in ecology from Winona State University. After graduation Ryan joined the Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa for four years where he was a water trails crew member, crew lead, and then a Parks and Trails Field Specialist with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Ryan learned of Great River Greening through the Conservation Corps by working alongside their staff and attending some of their volunteer events.
