Matt joined Great River Greening in September 2023 as the Field Operations Coordinator. He is responsible for the implementation and coordination of field-based restoration activities and volunteer opportunities.
Before coming to Great River Greening, Matt spent 10 years in the Army as a Civil Affairs Officer coordinating humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations. When not wrestling invasive species at work, he spends his time with his wife and four children enjoying every season of Minnesota weather.
