2026 River Sponsors Sustain the Flow of Our Work
Great River Greening’s work, hand in hand with community, has relied on the generosity of our partners to grow into the organization we are today. We’re proud to shine a light on three of these partners, whose Special Event Sponsorship at the River-level delivers essential support, helping us transform landscapes and communities across the state.
Blattner Company
Growing change starts with showing up, and Blattner Company has shown up in a big way. In less than two years, Blattner has already become a meaningful part of the Greening community, investing $13,500 in our mission, creating 600+ native seed balls at a staff volunteer event, and helping us distribute native seed packets to community members across the state.
Since the beginning of this partnership in 2025, they have continued to grow deep roots with Greening, expanding their impact and investment in Minnesota’s future. In 2026, Blattner stepped up as one of our top-level Special Event Sponsors, demonstrating their commitment and enthusiasm toward creating a greener future. We are thrilled to celebrate a company that understands that meaningful change is built through both generosity and action.

Fox Rothschild LLP
For two decades, Fox Rothschild LLP has been an important part of Greening’s story. On top of the over $48,000 donated and additional pro-bono legal services they’ve contributed, their visionary leadership from board emerita Tom Marek and Tim Scallen and current board member JT Schuweiler has helped to make Greening the organization it is today.

Their philanthropy goes beyond the services and dollars that fuel our mission—they continue lead by example with hands-on volunteering, showing up at project sites across the metro to help get the work done. After 20 years, Fox Rothschild’s impact can be seen not only in their contributions, but in the communities and public lands they have helped strengthen. We are proud to celebrate their enduring partnership and the many ways they continue to show up for Greening and communities across the state.
Stoel Rives LLP
For more than 15 years, Stoel Rives LLP has been a steadfast champion of Greening’s work, contributing more than $113,000 to help strengthen communities and restore Minnesota’s natural landscapes. Their support shows up in many ways, from River-level sponsorships and direct giving to enthusiastic participation at Greening events and hands-on volunteer days, working alongside our staff and community members.
Their commitment also runs deep in leadership. We are grateful for the many Stoel Rives partners who have shared their expertise through board service over the years, as well as the continued leadership of current board member and Stoel Rives partner Thomas Braun. Their guidance and generosity have fueled change across the state—restoring habitats, cooling communities, and bringing neighbors together to steward our public lands.

Our River-level sponsors give much more than dollars. Through their dedicated partnership and steadfast support, they continue to set the example of environmental stewardship. With their support, Great River Greening can continue to bring forth our shared vision of a Greener Minnesota, growing the current of change for generations to come.
